SMS in email and calendar systems
Most, if not all, companies today have a calendar and email system. They are often tied together so that there is only one system. It could be Microsoft Outlook, Google Office or Yahoo. There are many more than these.
If your company uses the calendar to book meetings with customers, it can be efficient and smart to connect an SMS solution to the calendar system. The calendar systems can send a so-called .ics file to the customer so they can click on it and get the appointment in the calendar immediately.
With an SMS integration to the calendar system, you can also send an SMS to the customer - or employee - e.g. 2 hours before the meeting. This way you can help them remember the appointment.
Mail2SMS
There are many ways to integrate email systems and SMS systems. The simplest is to use a so-called mail2sms solution. Here you simply send an email to an SMS gateway and the SMS gateway then forwards the message to your mobile phone. SureSMS has a mail2sms solution. As one of the only ones in Denmark, we also have an sms2mail solution. It goes without saying that here the message goes the other way. When the recipient replies to the SMS, you receive it by email. You can simply press reply in your email program and your message will be sent to your phone.
iCalendar
iCal is an internet format. An international standard for accessing calendars on the internet. SureSMS also has a solution to read these iCal and send SMS messages in an efficient way. Once set up, you don't have to think about anything - SureSMS automatically retrieves new appointments and sends out SMS messages to participants. The downside of this solution, however, is that it is a bit complicated to set up.

SMS2Outlook
SMS2Outlook is an add-in for Outlook in Windows. It is made by SureSMS. Full integration from both emails and from the calendar. Journaling and much more.
TimePlan Software
TimePlan is also a Danish system made in Windows. It has a lot of features such as shift planning, time registration, absence registration and HR. TimePlan has an SMS integration to SureSMS, so it is very easy to set up.
