Rwanda is a nation in Africa where there are specific guidelines for sending SMS messages. To ensure proper delivery and compliance with local regulations, there are some important points to be aware of.
Transmitter ID guidelines require that alphanumeric transmitter IDs are case-sensitive and must contain the brand name. It is mandatory to pre-register the transmitter ID for the MTN network. Numeric transmitter IDs are not supported unless offered through a two-way service. In case of numeric transmitter IDs, these will be overwritten to ensure delivery.
