When it comes to sender IDs, alphanumeric sender IDs are supported for Comcel and Tigo with no registration or whitelisting requirements. Sender IDs used before November 1, 2025 are whitelisted at the Claro network. To introduce a new alphanumeric sender ID to Claro, please contact your account manager for information on registration requirements.

Numeric sender IDs are not supported unless offered as part of a two-way service. Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE, etc. are not allowed.

It is important to note that P2P traffic is prohibited, nor is content related to politics, religion, unsolicited promotion or gambling.
