Uwagi

Country: Taiwan (TW).

Taiwan is subject to specific rules for sending SMS messages. Sender ID for all networks in Taiwan will be overwritten to random Taiwanese numbers, whether alphanumeric, numeric or generic. We offer a content registration service for retail customers. Please contact your account manager if you are interested in this option. If a customer with registered content wants to add new content or change existing content, a new content registration request must be submitted.

From 1 November 2025, all commercial SMS messages must clearly include the name of the company, organization, brand or campaign in the message content. This requirement aims to improve end-user identification of senders and strengthen risk management of SMS messages. To comply with the telecom operators' verification process, customers who want to register their content, or customers with existing registered content, must strictly follow the KYC (Know Your Customer) real name registration protocol. All necessary documents for content registration and KYC can be found on our Global Sender IDs portal.

When this new policy comes into effect, Taiwanese telecom operators can perform random checks on their SMS traffic. If no KYC documents exist for a customer's traffic and it gets flagged, the traffic will be blocked until the customer has submitted the required information to us and has been approved by the telecom operators. This is due to the risk of fines according to local telecommunication regulations.

We recommend that you stay updated on any changes to the rules as the terms for SMS messages in different countries may change. We do our best to ensure that all information about specific terms is up-to-date and accurate.
