Notes

Country: Spain (ES).

In Spain, new regulations have been introduced to protect consumers from identity theft and fraud via SMS. All alphanumeric sender IDs that appear at the top of an SMS/MMS/RCS message sent to Spanish mobile numbers must be pre-registered in the official Alias Registry managed by the CNMC. If your sender ID is not registered before June 7, 2026, your messages will be blocked by Spanish mobile operators and will not be delivered to recipients. For more information on how to register your Sender ID, please contact your account manager or support.

Alphanumeric sender IDs are supported, but from 2026 a new registration process will be required. International numeric sender IDs are also supported, but other numeric sender IDs must purchase virtual numbers to ensure delivery. Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE, etc. are prohibited.

For marketing messages, consent from mobile users is required before sending traffic. P2P traffic is prohibited and no content related to politics, religion, unsolicited promotion or gambling may be sent. There are no additional content restrictions beyond those stated in our Acceptable Use Policy.

Please note that the terms and conditions for SMS messages in each country are constantly changing and we cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies. However, we do our best to ensure that all information on specific terms is up-to-date and accurate.
