Transmitter ID guidelines: Alphanumeric transmitter IDs are generally supported. Numeric sender IDs are generally not supported unless a two-way service is offered. Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE, etc. are prohibited. It is recommended to use a representative brand or company name to ensure delivery.
Usage and content guidelines: Virtual numbers must be associated with a mobile device. Tablets are not considered mobile devices. A2P use cases are expected to use the 097xx number range set up for M2M. There is a risk that the regulator may request that our operators stop offering service for both voice and SMS.
Marketing traffic requires prior consent from users. P2P traffic is prohibited. Political, religious, unsolicited advertising or gaming content is not allowed. Banking traffic may be restricted for certain protected brands.
There are no additional content restrictions beyond those described in our Acceptable Use Policy. We aim to keep all information up to date and accurate, but cannot be held responsible for changes in the rules.
