Notes

Country: Mauritania (MR).

In Mauritania, there are specific guidelines for sending SMS messages. Alphanumeric sender IDs are allowed, but they must include the brand name. Numeric sender IDs are also supported, while generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE, etc. are prohibited.

When sending marketing messages, it is necessary to obtain consent from the recipients. It is important to note that person-to-person (P2P) traffic is prohibited and content related to politics, religion, unsolicited promotion or gambling is not allowed. There are no additional content restrictions beyond those stated in our Acceptable Use Policy.

We strive to keep the information updated and accurate, but we cannot take responsibility for any changes in the rules for SMS broadcasting in individual countries.
