Notes

Country: Cyprus (CY).

Cyprus is part of Europe and has the country code 357 and mobile code 280. When sending SMS messages to Cyprus, there are specific sender ID guidelines. Alphanumeric sender IDs are fully supported, while numeric sender IDs are not allowed unless they are part of a two-way service. Numeric sender IDs will be changed to ensure delivery. Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE etc. are prohibited; it is recommended to use your own representative brand name to avoid changes to the sender ID.

When sending marketing messages, it is necessary to obtain consent from the recipients before sending the messages. It is important to note that P2P traffic is not allowed. In addition, content related to politics, religion, unsolicited advertising or gambling is not allowed. In addition to these guidelines, the general rules in our Acceptable Use Policy apply.

Please note that the rules for SMS broadcasting may change and we strive to keep the information updated and correct. For further information or specific advice, it is recommended to contact an expert.
