Notes
Yemen (YE) has specific guidelines for sending SMS messages. Alphanumeric sender IDs are supported but may be overwritten to ensure delivery, especially if your brand name is not used. Numeric sender IDs are not allowed unless a two-way service is offered. Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE, etc. are prohibited.
When it comes to marketing traffic, it is necessary to obtain consent from recipients before sending messages. P2P traffic is not allowed and content related to politics, religion, unsolicited promotion or gambling is prohibited. In addition, the general guidelines in our Acceptable Use Policy apply.
It is important to note that the rules for SMS messages may change and we strive to keep all information updated and accurate. For further information or questions, it is recommended to contact an expert.
