Paraguay (PY) has specific guidelines for sending SMS messages. Alphanumeric sender IDs are not supported and numeric sender IDs are only allowed if offered as part of a two-way service. Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE, etc. are prohibited.
When it comes to marketing traffic, it is necessary to obtain consent from recipients before sending messages. P2P traffic is not allowed and no content related to politics, religion, unsolicited advertising or gambling may be sent.
