The Falkland Islands (Malvinas) have specific guidelines for sending SMS messages. Sender ID must be alphanumeric, as numeric sender IDs are not supported unless it is part of a two-way service. Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE etc. are not allowed. To send marketing messages, prior consent from the recipients is required. It is important to note that person-to-person (P2P) traffic is prohibited and content related to politics, religion, unsolicited promotion or gambling is not allowed. In addition to these specifications, our Acceptable Use Policy applies. We are constantly working to keep the information updated, but we cannot accept responsibility for any changes to the rules.
