Panama has specific guidelines for sending SMS messages. Alphanumeric sender IDs are supported, while numeric sender IDs are not allowed unless a two-way service is used. In some cases, Movistar (71402) does not support numeric sender IDs. Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE etc. are prohibited.
