Jamaica (JM) is part of North America and has the country code 1876. When sending SMS messages to Jamaica, there are specific guidelines to follow. Alphanumeric sender IDs are supported, but numeric sender IDs are not allowed unless offered as part of a two-way service. Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE, etc. are prohibited.

For marketing traffic, prior consent from recipients is required before messages are sent. It is important to note that person-to-person (P2P) traffic is prohibited and content related to phishing will be filtered. Political, religious, unsolicited promotion or content related to gambling is also prohibited. There are no additional content restrictions beyond those stated in our Acceptable Use Policy.
