Country: French Guiana (GF).

French Guiana is part of South America and has specific rules for sending SMS messages. Alphanumeric sender IDs are supported, while numeric sender IDs are not allowed unless it is a two-way service. Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE, etc. are prohibited.

When it comes to marketing messages, it is necessary to obtain consent from recipients before sending messages. All marketing messages must end with "STOP au 93123", otherwise the messages may be rejected. P2P traffic is not allowed and no content related to politics, religion, unsolicited promotion or gambling may be sent. There are no additional content restrictions beyond those stated in our Acceptable Use Policy.

It is important to note that the rules for SMS messages can change and we strive to keep the information updated and correct. For further information or assistance, please feel free to contact our experts.
