Country: France (FR).
In France, it is recommended to use alphanumeric sender IDs for A2P traffic on all networks. For senders that require registration, the industry associated with the sender and the sender's brand must be provided. According to the latest updates, it is now necessary to register Sender IDs with special characters. Sender IDs sent to certain networks may be overwritten with random short codes outside of our platform. Numeric sender IDs are not supported unless offered as part of a two-way service and may be overwritten to ensure delivery. Generic sender IDs such as VERIFY, INFO, SMS, NOTICE, etc. are prohibited; it is recommended to use a representative brand or company name to ensure delivery.
For transactional traffic, all messages will be delivered directly to operators using specific short codes. To ensure that traffic is correctly identified and delivered through the correct routes, it is recommended to contact your account manager or submit a support request. Marketing or promotional content is subject to certain regulatory conditions and traffic that is not identified as transactional will automatically be treated accordingly.
It is important to note that the rules for SMS broadcasting in different countries are constantly changing and we strive to keep all information updated and accurate. For further information or specific queries, it is recommended to contact an expert.
