Czech Republic (CZ) - Country description

In the Czech Republic there are specific guidelines for sending SMS messages. To ensure delivery, alphanumeric sender IDs must be registered as unregistered IDs will be rejected by T-Mobile and may be changed or rejected by Vodafone and O2. It is therefore mandatory to complete a pre-registration to ensure delivery. Please note that there are character length restrictions. Numeric sender IDs are not supported unless they are offered as part of a two-way service. In such cases, the numeric sender IDs will be overwritten to ensure delivery. Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE etc. are not allowed. To start the Sender ID registration process, please contact your account manager or support.

In terms of usage and content, user consent is required before sending marketing messages. Peer-to-peer (P2P) traffic is prohibited and no content related to politics, religion, unsolicited promotion or gambling may be sent. Other than these guidelines, there are no additional content restrictions that are not already described in our Acceptable Use Policy.

It is important to note that SMS broadcasting terms in different countries may change and we cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies. However, we endeavor to ensure that all information on specific terms is up-to-date and correct.
