Notes
Zimbabwe (ZW) has specific guidelines for sending SMS messages. Alphanumeric sender IDs are supported on all networks, while numeric sender IDs are only allowed on most networks, except Telecel. Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, and NOTICE are not allowed.
When it comes to marketing traffic, it is necessary to obtain consent from recipients before sending messages. It is important to note that person-to-person (P2P) traffic is prohibited. Content related to politics, religion, unsolicited advertising or gambling is also prohibited. Beyond that, there are no additional content restrictions beyond those stated in our Acceptable Use Policy.
We recommend that you stay updated on the current rules as the terms and conditions for SMS messages may change over time. We do our best to ensure that all information is correct and up-to-date.
