Notes
Eswatini (SZ) has specific rules for sending SMS messages that must be followed. Sender ID guidelines require that alphanumeric Sender IDs are case-sensitive and must contain the brand name. For the MTN (65310) network, pre-registration is mandatory. Numeric Sender IDs are not supported unless offered as part of a two-way service. If numeric Sender IDs are used, they will be overwritten to ensure delivery. Generic Sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE etc. are prohibited. To start the Sender ID registration process, please contact your account manager or support.
For marketing traffic, opt-in consent is required from users before messages are sent. P2P traffic is prohibited, as is content related to politics, religion, unsolicited advertising or gambling. There are no additional content restrictions beyond those stated in our Acceptable Use Policy.
