Notes

Country: Somalia (SO).

Somalia has specific guidelines for sending SMS messages. Alphanumeric sender IDs are supported on all networks but must include the brand name. Numeric sender IDs can be used on all networks except Telcom Mobile/Somatel (63782) where the sender ID will be changed to ensure delivery. Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE etc. are not allowed.

When it comes to marketing traffic, it is important to obtain consent from users before sending messages. P2P traffic is not allowed and no content that is political, religious, unsolicited promotion or related to gambling may be sent. In addition to these guidelines, our Acceptable Use Policy applies to content.

It is important to note that the rules for SMS messages can change and we strive to keep the information updated and correct. For further information or specific advice, it is recommended to contact an expert.
