Notes

Country: Senegal (SN)

In Senegal, there are specific guidelines for sending SMS messages. Alphanumeric sender IDs are supported and these must include your brand name. Numeric sender IDs are not allowed unless they are offered as part of a two-way service. In the case of numeric sender IDs, these will be overwritten to ensure delivery. Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE, etc. are prohibited.

When it comes to marketing traffic, it is necessary to obtain consent from users before sending messages. There are strict restrictions on P2P traffic and content related to politics, religion, unsolicited promotion or gambling is not allowed. In addition to these guidelines, our Acceptable Use Policy applies.

We do our best to ensure that all information on specific terms is up to date and correct. However, it is important to note that the rules for SMS messages may change and we cannot take responsibility for any inaccuracies. For further information or assistance, please feel free to contact us.
