Notes

Country: Saudi Arabia (SA).

Sender ID guidelines require alphanumeric sender IDs to be registered in advance. Numeric sender IDs are not supported unless they are offered as part of a two-way service. Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE etc. are not allowed. To begin the Sender ID registration process, please contact your account manager or support.

Use cases and content guidelines for marketing traffic also require prior Sender ID registration. Marketing traffic is allowed, except from Mobily, but your registered Sender ID must have the suffix ' -AD' at the end and be counted towards the maximum length of 11 characters (e.g. SureSMS-AD). If you send both marketing and non-marketing traffic, you must register two Sender IDs (one for marketing and one for non-marketing). Mobily has temporarily suspended marketing traffic, so it will not be possible to send such messages at the moment. In addition, marketing traffic can only be sent between 8am and 10pm local time (UTC +3). Before sending marketing traffic, consent from the recipients is required.

Any URL included in messages must also be registered along with the sender ID and must match the brand name. Shortened URLs are not allowed and additional URLs may require separate registration.

Additional information: P2P traffic is prohibited. Political, religious, unsolicited promotional or gambling content is not allowed. There are no additional content restrictions beyond those stated in our Acceptable Use Policy.
