Notes

Country: Peru (PE)

Peru has specific rules for sending SMS messages that must be followed. Alphanumeric sender IDs will generally be changed to a local number to ensure delivery. Numeric sender IDs are not supported unless a two-way service is offered. Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE, etc. are prohibited.

To send marketing messages, prior consent from the recipients is required. P2P traffic is not allowed and content related to politics, religion, unsolicited advertising or gambling is also prohibited. There are no additional content restrictions beyond those described in our Acceptable Use Policy.

It is important to note that the rules for SMS messages can change and we strive to keep the information updated and correct.
