Notes
Oman (OM) has specific guidelines for sending SMS messages. To ensure proper delivery, alphanumeric sender IDs must be pre-registered. Unregistered sender IDs may be overwritten, but there is no guarantee of delivery. Numeric sender IDs are not supported unless offered as part of a two-way service. Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE, etc. are prohibited. To begin the Sender ID registration process, please contact your account manager or support.
When it comes to marketing traffic, it is necessary to obtain consent from recipients before sending messages. It is important to note that person-to-person (P2P) traffic is prohibited and no content related to politics, religion, unsolicited advertising or gambling may be sent. In addition, the general guidelines in our Acceptable Use Policy apply.
We do our best to ensure that all information on specific regulations is up-to-date and accurate, but we cannot be held responsible for changes in legislation. For more information or assistance, please contact our support team.
