Notes
Namibia (NA) has specific guidelines for sending SMS messages. Alphanumeric sender IDs are allowed, but they must include the brand name. Numeric sender IDs are also accepted, but generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE, etc. are prohibited.
For marketing messages, prior consent from recipients is required before sending traffic. It is important to note that person-to-person (P2P) traffic is prohibited. Furthermore, content related to politics, religion, unsolicited advertising or gambling is not allowed. In addition to these specific guidelines, our Acceptable Use Policy applies to all communications.
We recommend that you stay updated on changes to the SMS sending rules as these may change over time. We strive to ensure that all information is correct and up-to-date.
