Libya (LY) is located in Africa and has the country code 218. When sending SMS messages to Libya, there are specific sender ID guidelines. Dynamic alphanumeric sender IDs are supported, but they must include the brand name. Numeric sender IDs are not allowed unless a bidirectional service is used. Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE, etc. are prohibited.

For marketing messages, consent is required from recipients before any traffic is sent. It is important to note that person-to-person (P2P) traffic is prohibited.
