Notes
Liberia (LR) has specific guidelines for sending SMS messages. Sender IDs must be alphanumeric and contain the brand name as they are case sensitive. For the MTN network (61801) it is mandatory to pre-register the Sender ID. Numeric Sender IDs are not supported unless they are offered as part of a two-way service. If numeric Sender IDs are used, they will be overwritten to ensure delivery. Generic Sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE etc. are prohibited. To begin the Sender ID registration process, please contact your account manager or support.
When it comes to marketing traffic, prior consent from users is required before messages are sent. It is important to note that P2P traffic is prohibited, as is content related to politics, religion, unsolicited advertising or gambling. Beyond these guidelines, there are no additional content restrictions beyond those stated in our Acceptable Use Policy.
It is important to be aware that the rules for SMS sending may change and we strive to keep all information updated and correct. For further information or assistance, it is recommended to contact our support team.
