Notes

Country: Lebanon (LB).

Lebanon has specific guidelines for sending SMS messages. Sender ID must be alphanumeric and contain the brand name as it is case-sensitive. Alphanumeric sender IDs can also be overwritten to ensure delivery. Numeric Sender IDs are not supported unless a two-way service is offered. Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE etc. are not allowed.

For marketing messages, consent from recipients is required before sending traffic. It is important to note that P2P traffic is prohibited and no content related to politics, religion, unsolicited promotion or gambling may be sent. There are no additional content restrictions beyond those stated in our Acceptable Use Policy.

Please note that the rules for SMS broadcasting may change and we strive to keep the information updated and correct. For further information or assistance, we recommend contacting our experts.
