Notes
The Gambia (GM) has specific guidelines for SMS sending that must be followed. Alphanumeric sender IDs are supported on all networks except Gamcel (60701) where the sender ID will be overwritten to ensure delivery. Numeric sender IDs are also allowed on all networks with the same exception. Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE etc. are not allowed.
To send marketing messages, prior consent from the recipients is required. It is important to note that P2P traffic is prohibited, as is content related to politics, religion, unsolicited promotion or gambling. There are no additional content restrictions beyond those stated in our Acceptable Use Policy.
