Transmitter ID guidelines: Alphanumeric transmitter IDs are supported on all networks except MTN where pre-registration is mandatory. Transmitter IDs are case sensitive and must include the brand name. Numeric transmitter IDs are supported on all networks except MTN and ARTCI, where the transmitter ID will be overwritten to ensure delivery. Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE etc. are prohibited. To start the Sender ID registration process, please contact your account manager or support.
Use cases and content: Marketing messages require prior consent from recipients. P2P traffic is prohibited. No political, religious, unsolicited advertising or gambling content may be sent. There are no additional content restrictions beyond those stated in our Acceptable Use Policy.
