Country: Congo (CG)

Congo, officially known as the Republic of Congo, is located in Africa and has the country code 242 and the mobile country code (MCC) 629. When sending SMS messages to this country, there are specific sender ID guidelines. Alphanumeric sender IDs must contain the brand name and are case sensitive. It is important to note that for the MTN network (62910) pre-registration is mandatory. Numeric sender IDs are not supported unless offered as part of a two-way service and will be overwritten to ensure delivery. Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS or NOTICE are not allowed. To start the Sender ID registration process, it is recommended to contact your account manager or support.

When it comes to usage and content, user consent is required before sending marketing messages. It is also important to emphasize that P2P traffic is prohibited, as well as content related to politics, religion, unsolicited promotion or gambling is not allowed. In addition, the general content restrictions set out in our Acceptable Use Policy apply.
