Notes

Bahrain (BH) has specific guidelines for sending SMS messages. Sender ID must be alphanumeric and contain the brand name as it is case-sensitive. Numeric sender IDs are not supported unless a two-way service is used. It is important to note that generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE, etc. are prohibited, and the use of network names such as Zain, Viva and Batelco will also be blocked.

When it comes to marketing traffic, it is necessary to obtain consent from users before sending messages. P2P traffic is not allowed and no content related to politics, religion, unsolicited advertising or gambling may be sent. In addition, the general guidelines in our Acceptable Use Policy apply.

It's important to be aware that the rules for SMS broadcasting can change and we strive to keep all information updated and correct. For more information or assistance, please feel free to contact our experts.
