When setting up the integration between ideal.shop and SureSMS, it is very important that your customers are given the option to sign up for SMS. Without "permission" you cannot legally send them SMS messages.

 

You obtain permissions in the check-out flow, where you also ask if customers want newsletters.

 

According to legislation, customers must be able to unsubscribe from SMS and email lists. They can do this in SureSMS by checking the box at the same time as you send out. It's incredibly easy.
Once the customer has done so, you can send SMS from ideal.shop.

SMS list

Once the integration is set up and activated, a group is automatically created in your SureSMS account called ideal.shop. This list contains all customers from your shop who have agreed to receive SMS messages.

In SureSMS you can see the recipient's name, email and phone number. You can also use our other methods to get recipients on your SMS list. For example, users sign up directly on your website and don't need to buy anything to get on the list.
