The price of an SMS is the same and you pay for every SMS you send, even if the recipient's phone is switched off, out of coverage or the number is not found!
With a hosted SIM, you do NOT pay your mobile carrier for outgoing text messages, even though we have your SIM card in the phone. You only pay us, and the text message rate follows the pricing tier above. All four Danish mobile carriers state in their terms and conditions that you are NOT allowed to send so-called "machine-generated" text messages using their SIM cards. Therefore, it would be a violation of the carriers’ terms and conditions if SMS Gateways were to send text messages through the SIM card. We therefore deliver the text message via our direct connection to the telecom provider but receive the reply on the SIM card.
About our 2-way solutions
You need a 2-way solution if you want to receive replies back to your SMS messages. For example, customers who can answer questions or when using machine-generated SMS messages, e.g. used for surveillance. A 2-way solution is NOT part of our free SMS gateway.
The SMS messages you receive are part of the subscription (free) and there is no set-up fee. The 2-way solution has a 6-month commitment and can then be canceled with 1 month's notice. The price is still the same per SMS you send. Read more about our 2-way solution HERE!
