What is Zapier

Zapier is an online automation platform that allows you to connect different apps and automate tasks across them. With Zapier, you can create "Zaps", which are automated workflows that transfer data and perform actions between different apps.

One of the features that Zapier offers is integration with SMS services. This means that you can automate the sending and receiving of SMS messages based on a specific action in another app. For example, you can set up a Zap to send a text message to your phone when you receive an email from a specific sender.

Zapier is a popular platform used by businesses and individuals to automate work processes and increase productivity. With Zapier and SMS integration, you can save time and effort while keeping you or your customers, members, employees or other stakeholders updated on important messages and tasks.

Zapier has over 5000 integrations. This means that with a SureSMS connection to Zapier, you can integrate with whatever system you need. It costs a little every time you use a "Zap", but often it can be worth every penny.

Send SMS from Zapier

Once you have connected your Zapier account to your SureSMS account, you can set up so-called "Zaps". These are automated tasks that are performed when something happens in, for example, your order system, website, membership system or other system. Examples of SMS broadcasts can be:

    • When you receive an important email from a specific sender, you can set up a Zap to send you a text message instantly so you can quickly respond to the important message.

 

    • When you receive an order or payment on your ecommerce platform such as WooCommerce or Shopify, you can create a Zap that sends an SMS message to you so you can confirm and process the order quickly.

 

    • When you have an appointment or meeting, you can set up a Zap to send you a text message reminder so you don't forget.

 

    • When you want to follow up on a specific task or project, you can set up a Zap to send you a daily or weekly SMS message with an overview.

Manage contacts

You can also create a setup in Zapier (a Zap) so that contacts are added and removed in SureSMS when they are added or removed from lists in other systems.

For example, the contact might sign up in Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, Drip or another system. When this happens, a Zap can make sure the contact is also created in SureSMS. You can then send an SMS to the entire list. We have made sure that if a person unsubscribes via SMS, SureSMS will no longer send SMS to that person.

The option to remove the person from a single list or delete them completely is also available. This allows you to send SMS messages to entire SMS groups in SureSMS and create automation in SureSMS.

It is an advantage for you that the SMS gateway you connect to is in Denmark (or Norway and Sweden) because these gateways often have better connections to the Danish operators.
