Guide to setting up SMS from CAS Booking System

To use SMS in CAS Booking System you need an account with SureSMS. It is free to create and there is no subscription. It costs 31 øre per SMS to send to Danish numbers. An SMS can be 160 characters long, if you write more than 160 characters, you have to pay for 2 SMS messages.

Once you have an account with SureSMS, you need to set it up in CAS Booking System. Below are instructions for creating an account with SureSMS and then setting it up in CAS Booking System.

  • Create an account

    First you need to create an account here on the SureSMS site. Open this link and fill in the information: Create an account

  • Receive email with information

    When you receive a welcome email with information about your account, please reply with the following information:

    1. CAS Booking system user in the subject field
    2. Your CVR number
    3. The email address we should send the invoice to
    4. Which sender you want. NOTE: You can type a maximum of 11 characters including spaces in the sender

  • Setup in CAS Booking

    Now it's time to set up in the CAS Booking System. Under 'Settings' in the administration you will find 'SMS Settings'. Here you enter your username and password that you have received by email and SMS as well as your sender name (your workplace) from step 4

  • Test setup

    Once you have received a reply to the email you sent in step 4, try sending an SMS directly during setup.
