- Receiving SMS messages on the number is free of charge. Regardless of the number of SMS messages we forward to you, it is included in the subscription.
- All SMS messages you send from your 2-way solution will be charged at the current rate. See our SMS gateway prices here.

- For all 2-way solutions, the SMS can be answered from both our website and from your own mailbox.

- An international social network Uses SureSMS for neighborhood watch. Through a 2-way solution, residents can sign up for groups corresponding to the neighborhood they live in. Via Keywords, you sign up for your neighborhood. You can also register your burglar alarm. If the alarm goes off, an SMS is sent to your neighbors, Neighborhood Watch never goes out of fashion!
- A major Danish jeweler uses a 2-way solution to contact customers when their goods have arrived or are ready for repair. The 2-way solution allows customers to reply to the SMS.
- One of our hairdressers uses our 2-way solution to quickly book appointments when he receives a cancellation. The hairdresser sends the available time to customers on the waiting list, who can then quickly confirm or deny.
Hosted SIM solution
If you want to use your own SIM card for your 2-way solution, we offer a stable and secure hosted SIM solution. Benefits: You own the number and you can forward calls from the number to your phone so your customers can call you.
About Hosted SIM
In short, we install your SIM card in a piece of hardware on our premises. When someone sends a message to the SIM card, the SMS message is read by a piece of software and the message is added to your account on our WEB Interface. Here you can log in and see all information about your messages.
You can choose your own number
One of the benefits of hosted SIM is that you can control which number you get. This way, you can make the number fit in a number range with your company's other numbers.
With hosted SIM, call forwarding is also available. If a customer tries to call you, the call can be forwarded to your normal service phone. The ability for your customers to call you can add great value to campaigns and services.
Our 2-way solution supports receiving Flash messages.
Option for foreign numbers
With hosted SIM, you can choose to plug a foreign SIM card into our hardware. If you send us the SIM card, we will quickly set up the solution for you.
If you want a hosted SIM solution, you need to get a SIM card yourself and send it to us. Alternatively, we are happy to set up a VLN number.
Outbound SMS from Hosted SIM
With hosted SIM, you do NOT pay for outgoing text messages to your carrier, even if we have your SIM card in the phone. You only pay to your SMS Gateway, in our case SureSMS. All four Danish telecom companies state in their terms and conditions that you are NOT allowed to create so-called "machine-generated" SMS messages with your SIM card. Therefore, it will be a violation of the terms and conditions of the telecom companies if SMS Gateways send SMS messages through the SIM card. We therefore deliver the SMS message through our direct connection to the telecom company, but receive the reply on the SIM card. See the current price for outbound SMS in our SMS Gateway prices. In Denmark, you never pay for inbound SMS.

Here you can read some examples of how our customers are using our hosted SIM solution today:
- A Danish heat supply company use our hosted SIM solution to their business in Norway and Sweden. Just like in Denmark, their staff must send appointment reminders to residents, but since these are on Norwegian and Swedish numbers, the 2-way solution must of course be the same.
- A Danish advertising agency sends physical letters to customers with offers. These letters contain a phone number where customers can sign up for the offers with a KEYWORD. The number is forwarded to the advertising agency's customer phone so that future customers can also call.
- A hotel near the Danish/German border uses our 2-way solution for communication with future and past customers. Since there are both Danes and Germans among the guests, the 2-way solution should of course have both a Danish and a German mobile number.
Why we choose hosted SIM and VLN numbers
Technically, there are various options for creating a solution where the recipient of the message can reply to it
One option on the market is to use so-called media codes and shortcodes. Via a 4-digit media code and a password, the customer can respond to your messages. We do not believe this is a good solution for our customers.
Not only is the solution complicated and prone to communication errors, it is also an expensive solution for you as a customer. At SureSMS, we believe it should be simple and affordable for our customers.
